I only recently discovered a love for Earl Grey (that bergamot!) and have been experimenting with all sorts of brands, blends, and other attempts. I've also really enjoyed Wize coffee leaf tea for a few years now, so this seemed like a no-brainer. I'm no purist when it comes to tea, so I'll choose this Earl Grey over the "traditional" stuff any day of the week. Leave the bag to steep for 10 mins and it's still great! None of the astringency of regular tea. Easily one of my favourite teas out there. I'm so glad Wize is local!

I already love this tea in the compostable teabag format; however, the loose tea allows me to tune how strong or weak I like my tea today. I do prefer the aromatics of coffee leaves instead of traditional tea. It brings out earthy and citrus tones to each sip.

I just loved this coffee leaves Earl Grey when we purchased it a year ago from a local store. We bought it several times, however, it was no longer stocked. I'm delighted to see that it can be purchased directly from Wize, cutting into the distributors and contributing to who matters the most. The tea has a natural sweetness, the floral tones are well balanced and the flavour does not become bitter when brewed for an extended period of time. In contrast to 'regular' Earl Grey teas, I prefer this one without milk as it can overpower the subtleness of the coffee leaves. I appreciate the effort to make it more environmentally friendly by having the bags compostable.
